District Attorney Run Considered by Christopher Zampogna

Reported in the Buffalo Evening News on May 22, 2008, Christopher A. Zampogna is one of the candidates being considered to run for the Erie County District Attorneys Office in New York. (Link to http://www.buffalonews.com/ and type key words to review entire article).

He worked in the same office from January 1995 until March 1999.

His final decision and the completion of the selection process will be finalized within the next several weeks.

Christopher Zampogna has been nominated to run for District of Columbia Bar Association President

Nominating committee of the DC Bar Association has asked me to run for DC Bar Association President.

The DC Bar Association is a collegial association of lawyers which preceded the existence of the DC Bar (more can be read about it at badc.org). It was founded in 1871. One of its missions is to balance the business of practicing law with a lawyer's personal life.

My plans are to provide more services for its members which primarily are composed of medium, small, and, solo practitioners. One plan is to provide free legal research to those who join.

In addition, partnerships with local organizations shall be increased to raise awareness of the positive impact this organization has on the entire DC community.
