Malbec Wine Tasting - Review

The results are in for the tasting: Our group rated the six wines as follows:

1) Cruz Alta - Argentina Malbec

2) Almos - Argentina Malbec

3) Primus - Chile - Syrah/Merlot/Caremene

4) Anakena - Chile Malbec tied with -

5) Root - Chile -Caremene

6) Poesia - Argentina Malbec - Mendoza region

Highest score was 6.4 to lowest score 2.2. My personal favorites were tied for number 4 in the group Anakena and Root each received a 5.3 average score.

But, with the exception of number 6, all were ranked close between 5.3 and 6.4, so you really wouldn't go wrong with either of the first five depending on your meal.
