Scotch Tasting at Zampogna, P.C. Post Holiday Party

It always makes sense to learn how to have a drink in the winter which warms you up and lets you share your experiences of the crazy holidays with colleagues and friends. Our first annual scotch tasting featured some wonderful single malts and blends. And, our scotch expert, Mike, gave all involved a terrific primer on scotch.

Unlike a wine tasting, you actually begin with "chewing" the scotch in you mouth. You also drink it by inhaling through your mouth as you sip. We had , Laphroig, Glenfiddich, The Belvanie, and Chivas Regal. The last being a blend, the rest all single malt.

The crowd favorite was Laphroig, which had the most peat flavor to it.
